Thakur Footwear Co ( T.F.C )

other

Thakur Footwear Company holds the corner of Nai ki Mandi with a facade covered in dense, hand-painted signage advertising leather shoes and boots. It survives as a relic of the era when local craftsmen in Agra transitioned from making traditional Indian footwear to producing Western-style boots for the British military. The shop occupies a building that once served as a specialized wholesale hub, where leather merchants from across the region brought raw hides to be stamped and sold to the cobblers working upstairs.
