viewpoint

The five-story Wangulou pagoda dominates the summit of Shizi Mountain with its distinctive copper-tiled roof and intricate timber framework. When the original structure fell into disrepair, woodworkers rebuilt it using traditional techniques, fitting thousands of mortise and tenon joints together without using a single metal nail.
