Przejście Żelaźnicze

The Przejście Żelaźnicze, or Ironmongers Passage, is a narrow, covered walkway cutting through a medieval building block in Wrocław. Its dark, vaulted tunnel connects the market square to the nearby streets, and a pair of bronze statues of a goose and a goat sit near the entrance. In the fourteenth century, this corridor housed the stalls of ironsmiths and metalworkers. Today, the passage remains a vital, compressed shortcut used daily by residents to bypass the main thoroughfares of the city center.
