Forty-seven Palace Court stands as a preserved anchor of the late Victorian era, built in eighteen eighty-nine in the Queen Anne Revival style. Architect Leonard Stokes designed this red-brick residence, which was one of the first structures to be completed on this street. It gained its Grade Two listed status as a notable example of the architectural personality that came to define this particular pocket of Bayswater.
