Battersea Power Station remains one of the world's largest brick buildings and stands as a primary example of Art Deco industrial architecture. Its four distinct chimneys were designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, who is also responsible for the iconic red telephone box found across the United Kingdom. During its peak operation, the station generated a fifth of London's electricity, fueling major landmarks like Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.
