The Scoop

historic

The Scoop is a sunken, open-air amphitheater that sits directly on the south bank of the River Thames. Designed by Townshend Landscape Architects, the space uses its unique topography to carve a performance venue out of the ground, nestled in the shadow of the buildings at More London. It provides a distinct, concrete-stepped seating area that can accommodate up to one thousand people who gather here to watch the river traffic pass by or to view the events staged on the central floor.
