Chester Terrace

Chester Terrace holds the distinction of being the longest unbroken facade in all of Regent's Park, stretching for nearly three hundred meters along the park's eastern edge. You will notice its grand, uniform appearance, which features fifty two Corinthian columns and two prominent triumphal arches at either end. These arches serve a double purpose, functioning as monumental entrance markers that display the terrace's name in massive lettering. The name itself honors George the Fourth, who held the title of Earl of Chester before his ascension to the throne.
