The Last Tuesday Society and Absinthe Parlour on Mare Street began as a modest curiosity shop known as Viktor Wynd's Little Shop of Horrors. Its founder, artist Viktor Wynd, initially filled the space with taxidermy and strange relics as a whimsical, non-educational alternative to traditional museums. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2014, the venue was transformed into the formal museum and bar that exists today. It now operates as a modern day cabinet of curiosities, designed to display everything from dodo bones to McDonald's toys without any attempt at formal categorization or academic explanation.
