Museum of Immigration and Diversity

Nineteen Princelet Street appears to be an ordinary, fading Georgian townhouse from the outside, but it holds the distinction of being the first museum of immigration and diversity in Europe. Built in seventeen nineteen, the structure was originally home to the Ogier family, who fled religious persecution in France and established themselves as prosperous silk weavers. The building retains a physical connection to those early days, including attic windows designed to let in the natural light required for the delicate task of weaving silk.
