Oxford Cheese Co

other

The storefront of Oxford Cheese Company occupies a narrow slice of the Covered Market with a glass display cabinet packed with rounds of local Oxford Blue and wheels of vintage cheddar. This stall exists because the historic market, which dates back to seventeen seventy-four, needed a dedicated space for dairy producers to sell their goods directly to residents. A few years ago, the staff spent an entire afternoon organizing a tasting flight for a regular customer who insisted he could identify any cheese by smell alone.
