Jack W. Lyle Park

Jack W. Lyle Park sits at the corner of Burgess Drive and Laurel Street, easily identified by the wide, paved central plaza anchored by a circular fountain. It honors Jack Lyle, a longtime Menlo Park resident who served as city manager for over twenty years during the middle of the twentieth century. When the city designed this space, they wanted a town square for public gatherings. The fountain jets splash directly onto the concrete, often surrounded by children on warm afternoons.
