Rammaytush alley

Rammaytush Alley serves as a quiet urban dedication to the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. The name honors the Ramaytush Ohlone, the indigenous people who stewarded this land for thousands of years before the arrival of European explorers in the eighteenth century. By naming this space after them, the city acknowledges the lasting presence of these first nations, whose descendants continue to live and work in the Bay Area today.
