Angel Alley

Angel Alley serves as a vital pedestrian and bicycle connector in the Dogpatch neighborhood, running along the Tennessee Street right of way. Its name comes from the clubhouse of the Hells Angels motorcycle club, which sits at the southern end of the path at Tubbs Street. While the area was once a site of significant neglect, covered in overgrowth and trash, it underwent a major transformation starting in 2015. Local residents and business owners collaborated with the motorcycle club members to clean and beautify the space, turning it into a landscaped corridor with palm trees, succulents, and reclaimed granite benches. Today, this path stands as an example of neighborhood-led urban renewal in a district known for its industrial history.
