Before this was a five-acre green space, the land beneath your feet was a sprawling, industrial parking lot. Its transformation into a park took fourteen years of planning and a complex partnership between the Port of San Francisco, the San Francisco Giants, and private developers. The resulting design intentionally mirrors the natural headlands of the Bay Area, using native plants like Monterey cypress and coast live oaks to shape the landscape.
