Yerba Buena Public Square

You are standing on top of one of the largest roof gardens in the country. Much of the ground beneath your feet is actually the Moscone Center, a sprawling underground convention complex. By building the park on a roof, urban planners created a massive green space in a dense downtown district without sacrificing the city's need for large-scale event facilities.
