Fuller Building

landmark

You are approaching the Fuller Building at fifty-seven street and Madison Avenue. This skyscraper was completed in nineteen twenty-nine as the new headquarters for the George A. Fuller Company, a construction firm that had previously occupied the famous Flatiron Building downtown. Seeking to avoid confusion with their former home, the company made sure to assert this building's own identity. If you look closely at the lobby floor, you will find mosaic medallions that proudly display the building's own name and the year of its completion, serving as a permanent record for anyone who enters.
