The roof of Chinotimba Market consists of corrugated iron sheets held up by a sprawling network of rusted steel pillars. This is the main hub for residents of the township to trade fresh produce, dried kapenta, and handmade crafts away from the tourist corridors of Victoria Falls. In the early nineteen eighties, the local council established this site to formalize informal trading. It grew from a few roadside vendors into a permanent collection of stalls where neighbors exchange news and groceries every day.
