The Zimbabwe Republic Police station in Victoria Falls occupies a low, whitewashed building with a deep, shaded veranda that runs along the front. This structure served as the local administrative center for the British South Africa Company when the town was first plotted in the early twentieth century. Police officers here once managed the border transit and enforced colonial regulations during the construction of the nearby bridge. Today, the station remains the primary point of law enforcement for the town and its visitors.
