The wall at the corner of Rue des Fabriques and Rue d'Alost carries a massive, colorful scene from the Tintin comic book series. A ladder stretches toward the top of a building, and the boy reporter Tintin climbs it alongside his dog, Snowy. This mural is part of the Brussels Comic Strip Route, a project launched in the early nineties to celebrate the city’s deep connection to comic artists. It covers the entire side of a five-story apartment building.
