Tintin Comic Mural

The Tintin mural covering the side of a building near the Grand Place shows the young reporter and his dog Snowy climbing down a fire escape. Hergé, the creator of the series, lived and worked in Brussels his entire life. He chose this specific building for the mural because it reflects the local architecture where Tintin’s adventures often began. The city keeps the paint fresh to ensure the characters remain sharp against the weathered brickwork of the city center.
