The Rue de la Victoire wall features a sprawling, multi-story mural of Ric Hochet, the intrepid reporter and detective from Belgian comics. He holds a magnifying glass, frozen in a moment of investigation against a backdrop of classic comic book panels. This piece belongs to the Brussels Comic Book Route, a project launched in the early nineties to celebrate the city's deep-rooted connection to the medium. André-Paul Duchâteau and Tibet created the character in nineteen fifty-five, filling thousands of pages with his exploits.
