Minnewater Park

Minnewater Park features a long, narrow lake crossed by a stone bridge that dates back to nineteen oh four. Locals call the water the Lake of Love, a name linked to a tragic legend about a young woman named Minna who died here while waiting for her lover. The park served as the city’s primary harbor for wool and cloth merchants during the middle ages, when barges packed the waterway. Today, the white swans drifting across the surface are the park's permanent residents.
