The Main Street Brewing Company occupies a two-story brick building from nineteen thirteen that once served as a warehouse for the Brewery Creek industrial area. While many neighborhood structures were demolished during Vancouver's rapid development, this building survived because it was repurposed as a taxicab dispatch office for decades. Today, the space retains its original heavy timber beams and exposed brick walls, housing large steel fermentation tanks that reach nearly to the ceiling where the old freight elevator hoist remains.
