Apollo (Paris)

The Apollo in the ninth arrondissement features a distinct, curved facade that cuts into the street corner with white stone and large, rounded windows. Originally built as a theater in nineteen oh four, it served as a venue for light comedies and revues during the Belle Epoque. Its most famous tenant was the singer Mistinguett, who debuted there early in her career. The building underwent a transformation into a cinema before returning to live performance. It remains a fixture of Paris theater history.
