Porte de Choisy

historic

Porte de Choisy stands at the location of a former gateway that pierced the nineteenth century Thiers wall, the last great defensive fortification built around Paris. By the early twentieth century, the wall was demolished, and its route became the path for the modern boulevard that circles the city today.
