Place de la Solidarité

Place de la Solidarité features a series of raised concrete planters that break the otherwise flat, open square. This space sits at the center of the Barthélemy district, a former industrial patch that the city cleared and redesigned to encourage residents to gather. Architects installed these heavy stone blocks to create seating areas, though many neighbors instead use them as impromptu tables for morning coffee or afternoon games. The square remains the primary site where the district hosts its local public commemorations.
