Aubervilliers–Pantin–Quatre Chemins station

This station marks a historic intersection where the ancient Roman road to Flanders once crossed the path between the communes of Aubervilliers and Pantin. Long before the modern metro arrived, this strategic junction served as a vital transit point for travelers and goods moving toward the north. The area earned its name, Quatre Chemins, from this precise crossing of four distinct routes. When the station opened on October 4, 1979, as part of the expansion of line 7, it finally formalized this crossroads as a hub for mass transit in the northeastern suburbs.
