Tour La Villette

landmark

The Tour La Villette stands out because of the bold, red steel exoskeleton that wraps around its concrete frame, making the structure look like a piece of industrial machinery abandoned in the middle of the city. Originally designed in the nineteen seventies to serve as an administrative hub for the nearby slaughterhouses, the building lost its purpose when those facilities closed. It remained an empty, looming shell for years, waiting for a new identity, until developers finally repurposed the interior into modern office spaces.
