The Galerie du 19M features a striking white facade wrapped in a complex, woven metallic veil that mimics the texture of fabric. Commissioned by Chanel, the building acts as a dedicated hub for high-end fashion artisans, gathering embroiderers, feather workers, and shoemakers under one roof to preserve their specialized skills. Architect Rudy Ricciotti designed the structure to reflect these delicate crafts on a massive industrial scale. He even had the concrete threads cast to suggest the threads of a textile loom.
