Originally established as a center for the surrounding working-class neighborhood, this space served as a critical hub for local media initiatives and community information exchange. In the nineteen nineties, it became a focal point for resident-led journalism projects that sought to amplify local voices during a period of rapid urban transformation in the nineteenth arrondissement.
