Musée : "Le 27 Pantin"

The address at twenty-seven rue de Pantin in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais holds a house with a facade covered in thousands of colorful pebbles and ceramic fragments. This structure is the work of Robert Vasseur, a postman who spent thirty years decorating every inch of his home. He gathered broken plates, toys, and glass pieces to cover the exterior walls. The house serves as a prime example of spontaneous architecture built by an amateur enthusiast during the mid-twentieth century.
