Oeuvre de Seth

The artist behind these murals is Julien Malland, known to the world simply as Seth. He began his career in the mid-nineties within the twentieth arrondissement of Paris, where he built his reputation among local graffiti crews by specializing in character-based designs. After graduating from the prestigious Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs, he authored the book Kapital, which remains one of the most significant records of French graffiti culture. His evolution from a local tagger to an internationally recognized muralist began in earnest when he started his travels in two thousand and three, earning him the nickname of the globe painter.
