Hippodrome de Pantin

The Hippodrome de Pantin was a massive, semi-permanent tent venue that dominated the landscape of the Parc de la Villette from 1974 until 1983. Designed as a permanent home for the Jean Richard Circus, the structure featured a distinctive yellow and blue canopy topped by a faux neo-classical facade. It provided seating for approximately 3,500 people, serving as a landmark site for circus arts and high-profile entertainment in the northeastern corner of Paris.
