Brauhaus Em Kölsche Boor

The Brauhaus Em Kölsche Boor features a facade with a distinct, weathered yellow plaster that stands out against the surrounding stone buildings of the Altstadt. It serves as one of the oldest taverns in Cologne, with roots reaching back to the seventeenth century. During the reconstruction following the heavy bombing of nineteen forty-five, workers found the original foundation stones intact beneath the rubble. It remains a place where local residents have gathered for centuries to drink Kolsch, despite the heavy destruction around it.
