Grandi Mathöll features a glass wall facing the harbor that exposes the interior of a former fish processing plant. Iron beams and industrial concrete floors remain from its decades as a cold storage facility for frozen catch. In two thousand eighteen, developers stripped away the rusted machinery to install a communal dining hall. Where workers once packed cod into crates, visitors now sit at long wooden tables to order bowls of pho or fish and chips from small food counters.
