Shri Guru Singh Sabha Chiang Mai

religious

The Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara stands apart in the Wat Ket neighborhood with its distinct, pale-yellow facade and the orange flag, the Nishan Sahib, fluttering high above the entrance. This building serves as the religious heart for Chiang Mai's Sikh community. It was established by families who arrived in northern Thailand during the early twentieth century, mostly working in the teak trade. Inside, the space remains quiet, centered around the Guru Granth Sahib, the central religious scripture of the Sikh faith.
