You are standing on a seven-mile circular trail designed to connect the royal landmarks that defined the life of the Princess of Wales. The path creates a figure-eight shape through four of London's royal parks, including St. James's Park, The Green Park, Hyde Park, and Kensington Gardens. It was officially opened in the year 2000 to offer a contemplative space for the public, choosing the open parkland she frequently visited over a static or enclosed monument.
