Jubilee Gardens

Jubilee Gardens is a riverside park located on the South Bank of the Thames in London. It occupies a space that spent much of the twentieth century as a collection of industrial wharves and warehouses before being cleared for the Festival of Britain in 1951. After the festival ended, the land served as an impromptu car park for decades until it was officially laid out as a public green space in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth the Second.
