For many years, the pub was famous among locals as a hub for competitive darts, with as much as eighty percent of its clientele gathering specifically for matches held several nights a week. The interior was long defined by a lived-in, authentic atmosphere, complete with an original island bar counter and mosaic flooring featuring the pub's name in the entryway.
