Helen Diller Civic Center Playground

The playgrounds here were designed as an artistic interpretation of San Francisco fog. The twisting steel structures and blue mesh nets are meant to evoke the movement of mist across the city, providing a whimsical, cloud-like space for children to climb and hide. This design was a deliberate choice to bring the natural environment into a highly urbanized, historic plaza.
