Ellē

food drink

The building housing Ellē features a curved facade of tan brick that follows the gentle bend of Mount Pleasant Street. It started as the Mount Pleasant Pharmacy in the nineteen twenties, serving the neighborhood for decades with a soda fountain that locals still remember. Today, the space operates as a bakery and café. Early each morning, bakers pull sourdough loaves and miso-chocolate chip cookies from the ovens, filling the air with the scent of toasted grains before the doors open to the street.
