Sandmeyer's Bookstore

other

Sandmeyer's Bookstore stands out with its floor-to-ceiling wooden shelves that hold a collection of books hand-picked by the family who owns the shop. While the neighborhood was once the center of the printing industry, this store serves as the sole remaining independent bookseller in the area. Ellen and Ulrich Sandmeyer opened their doors in nineteen eighty-two after deciding they wanted to share their own love of reading with the community. They still manage the shop today, keeping the tradition of personal recommendations alive.
