The Actors Company Theatre

The Actors Company Theatre, often known as TACT, was founded in nineteen ninety-two by a group of veteran stage actors with a specific mission. They dedicated the company to reviving neglected or rarely produced plays of high literary merit. Instead of focusing on the spectacle of modern stagings, they centered their work on the text and the craft of the performer. For many years, this meant producing concert performances that existed in the unique space between a formal staged reading and a full theatrical production.
