Vivero Plantas Iguazú sits behind a dense wall of broad-leafed philodendrons and potted ferns that spill onto the sidewalk. This nursery exists because Ricardo Radziunas wanted to see if the jungle’s chaotic variety could thrive in a domestic setting. He spent years hauling native orchids and rare bromeliads from the deep forest floor into these rows. When the humidity hits the sidewalk, the scent of wet earth and crushed sap signals that you have arrived at his collection of living history.
