Dirección Municipal de Patrimonio Histórico y Cultural

The Directorate of Municipal Historical and Cultural Heritage occupies a bright, cream-colored building with a distinct wide porch that stretches across its entire front facade. It functions as the administrative nerve center for preserving the local identity of Puerto Iguazú. Decades ago, this structure served as one of the original homes for staff working on the nearby Iguazú National Park project. The architects positioned the porch to catch the steady breeze, providing a cooling escape from the heavy humidity of the rainforest.
