The building at the corner of Victoria Aguirre and Perito Moreno catches the eye with its stark, whitewashed masonry and wide, shaded veranda. Originally constructed in the nineteen thirties, this structure served as a crucial stopover for travelers venturing into the deep rainforest of Misiones. In those years, before paved roads reached this corner of Argentina, the café provided a rare point of contact for engineers mapping the jungle and laborers building the first bridges leading toward the falls.
