Dali Museum

Dalí Paris is located in the heart of Montmartre, a district where the artist himself once lived at Rue Becquerel. This museum houses the largest collection of Salvador Dalí sculptures in France, featuring over three hundred original works, including iconic bronze interpretations of his melting clocks and the stilted Space Elephant. The gallery space is deliberately designed as a labyrinthine underground environment, meant to mirror the dreamlike and often bizarre nature of the surrealist movement he defined. It was established in 1991, two years after the artist's death, by collector Beniamino Levi, who worked closely with Dalí during his lifetime to transform his two-dimensional paintings into these tangible, three-dimensional forms.
