Théâtre Marigny

The Théâtre Marigny features a rounded facade covered in white stone and glass, set apart by the lush greenery of the Carré Marigny gardens. Originally built in eighteen eighty-three as a panorama hall, the building housed massive paintings that wrapped entirely around the viewer. Jacques Offenbach premiered his final works on this ground before the space transformed into a theater. Today, it remains a jewel box of French stagecraft, where the ghosts of turn of the century operettas still linger in the air.
