Le Samovar wears a bright yellow facade, standing out against the surrounding brickwork of the Avenue Raspail. This building began its life as a neighborhood bistro in the nineteen twenties, serving local workers from the nearby industrial sites. Later, it became a theater dedicated to the clown arts and physical comedy. In the nineties, performers moved in to teach circus skills and stage shows here. The former dining room serves as a rehearsal space, while the bar remains a place for performers.
