Haxo station consists of a single concrete platform tucked deep underground between the Pre-Saint-Gervais and Place des Fetes stations. It remains a ghost of the Paris Metro, built in nineteen twenty-one to connect two different lines that never actually joined. While tracks run through the station, no passenger train has ever stopped here for the public. The station lacks any street-level entrance, leaving it isolated behind locked iron gates. Maintenance crews occasionally pass through the silent, dimly lit space during their nightly rounds.
